MHUW Early Childhood Education

Placemaking, Donor Recognition

The Tamara Sparks Early Childhood Education Center at Mile High United Way: all children deserve a strong start. We were asked to put a Donor Recognition wall onto a glass partition that on one side was accessible to the public, and on the other, a space for children. We needed to make it have elements of honor for the donors and privacy for the kiddos, oh and be beautiful. And along the way we broke every “no” for Denver donor walls: trees, leaves, sun, and mountains. We think it works wonderfully.

See more about it (and a video of the space) here.
